Cuddington Golf Club

Juniors

Junior Membership - from 7 - 18 years of age.

Cuddington Junior Section has always been an important part of the club. The section is thriving with over 60 members, many under the age of 12.

Most aspiring juniors join Cuddington through group and individual lessons from our team of professionals, where they learn course etiquette, traditions, and play to obtain a handicap.  Once they have a handicap they are encouraged to participate in the many competitions and matches shown in the club diary and Junior email facility.

Cuddington Junior Teams participate in most Surrey Golf Competitions including Christie Cup, Rookie League and Tour, Kingston League, Fairways, Keppler and East Surrey Masters.

Our successful junior members, with single figure handicaps, play in individual Surrey and National Competitions. Currently we have two 14 year olds selected for the England under 16 squad, and a further 10 for the County in the under 14 and under 12 squads, most with single figure handicaps.

For all Juniors there are regular Club competitions which form part of a new Order of Merit series which was launched in 2016. There are also the “Majors”, namely the Junior Championship, Knockout and Masters.

On Sunday mornings throughout the year, children from the age of 5 years are very welcome to join coaching lessons with our Golf Professionals . No need to book and the cost is £6 per child. Lessons start at 09.00 or 10.30 and are on our practice area with bunker, chipping and putting green facilities.
